DIRECTIONS

Directions from Pittsburgh International Airport

Pittsburgh International Airport is about 20 miles from downtown Pittsburgh.

by bus

The 28X Airport Flyer (schedule) runs to and from the airport. If you are staying Downtown or in Oakland, this may be your least expensive airport transportation option. A one-way bus trip costs $2.75 (cash) or $2.50 (ConnectCard; see Getting Around for more information).

Be sure to budget at least an hour of travel time by bus. See also: the Port Authority’s information page about the 28X.

Accessibility note: Buses in Pittsburgh are equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts, and are also designed to “kneel” in order to lower the height of the entry stairs.

shuttle

The SuperShuttle runs to and from the airport for about $25 a trip.
